Summary Schedule:

Day 1: Arrive in Christchurch

• Upon arrival in Christchurch, known as ‘The Garden City,’ you will be met by a local representative for a private transfer to your hotel.
• For self-drive clients, collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.

Day 2: Christchurch – Queenstown (B)

• Journey across the fertile Canterbury Plains.
• Stop at Lake Tekapo and continue to the small town of Twizel.
• Travel through the historic Central Otago region to Lake Wakatipu and arrive at the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown.

Day 3: Milford Sound (B)

• Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, then onward to Lake Te Anau.
• Enter the stunning Eglinton Valley and travel through the man-made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound.
• Enjoy a cruise on this world-famous fiord, featuring Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls.
• Return to Queenstown for the night.

Day 4: Free Day in Queenstown (B)

• A day to explore Queenstown's endless optional attractions, including:
  • Bungy jumping
  • Jet boating
  • White water rafting
  • Gondola rides
• (Optional activities are not included in the tour price.)

Day 5: Queenstown - Mt Cook – Christchurch (B)

• Travel through the Central Otago region to Twizel.
• Follow the shores of Lake Pukaki to Aoraki (Mt Cook), New Zealand's highest peak.
• Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo.
• Travel across the Canterbury Plains back to Christchurch.

Day 6: Departure Day (B)

• Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or return of your rental car.
